I recently completed a design and content refresh on a WordPress eCommerce website for a long-term client, Kristen Coria.
Kristen is the owner of and Chief Career Strategist at Resume Innovators. Resume Innovators provides resume writing, job interview preparation, and career coaching services to people committed to finding meaningful careers, experiencing career transitions, and pursuing upward career mobility.
Kristen and I have been working together since 2013. Back then, Kristen hired me to make moderate updates to her existing website.
Early eCommerce Adopter
It was very fun for me and progressive for Resume Innovators to include eCommerce back in those days. The business coaches, career coaches, and resume writers with whom I had worked prior to meeting Kristen, did a comprehensive job in describing their services, but, none provided a way to purchase online – that is, until Kristen and her Resume Innovators WordPress eCommerce website came to me!
Over the years, Kristen’s resume writing and coaching services have expanded due to her own business growth as well as the emergence of social recruiting and the power of LinkedIn.
In fact, in 2017, we worked together on a total redesign of the website, incorporating a more modern design as well as updating content and adding services that reflected the shift in job search and career services.
Recent updates to this WordPress eCommerce Website
Most recently, in Q1 2022, we worked on a light redesign that included incorporating the new logo (shown below), updating the website’s color palette to include the colors in the logo, changing web page graphics, updating web-page content, and adding new pages that feature new resume writing and coaching packages.
In the above image, note that the title of the page and the background on the header of the catalog line items are branded to match the dominant color in the logo.
In between these periodic infrastructure updates that are years apart, the Resume Innovators website is maintained entirely by the owner. Kristen does a fabulous job!
