Upcoming Speaking Engagements and Public Webinars
|4:00 PM – 5:00 PM||Creating Content that Google can’t Ignore – Free Webinar open to the public|
Good for: non-tech small business owners, freelance website content writers, bloggers, and recently graduated website content writers
When you have content that Google can’t ignore, it means that your content is written and formatted in ways that Google easily understands. When Google understands content, it properly categorizes it, and gives it visibility by offering it in the search results pages. And we know that greater online visibility leads to more traffic, and more traffic leads to more sales…and we want those!
Oftentimes, business professionals and bloggers write volumes of content, but that content is missing the clues that inform Google. Lacking these signals, Google is unsure, and the nebulousness leads to mis-categorization and the content ends up in limbo.
If you want to learn the formula to get Google to easily understand your content, then this webinar is for you! Register at the Mass innovation Network website.

Karen welcomes speaking engagements; in person and online, solo presentations and collaborative workshops, webinars and expert panels. The format is not as important as the opportunity to share what she has learned during her 21 years of working on the Internet.
Karen started her business when the Internet was in its infancy. She named her company “Adventures Online” as a result of working on the Internet in those early days. Every time she went to do something, the process had changed; forms had been replaced with emails, info was no longer located where it had been the day before. The Internet was growing, and everyday became an “Adventure on line”. She took poetic license and squished “on line” together, and chose Adventures Online for her company name. Now, armed with 25 years of Internet experience, she practices her gift of teaching by presenting to small business groups, near and far. Karen has prepared popular topics, and, upon request, is happy to present a customized topic to your organization.
In 2019 and early 2020 Karen presented a workshop entitled, WP SEO Boot Camp. WP SEO Boot Camp had been developed by Karen during 2018-2019. The half-day workshop was run several times until the Covid-19 Stay in Place order was enacted. This in-person workshop has been converted to a 6-week, 7-module online course. The course has been renamed to Simple & Sustainable SEO System and is offered through Adventures Online’s sister website, Karen-Callahan.com.
In early 2018, Karen collaborated with Maura Webster, Founder and CEO of LillaBlu Strategies in Marlborough, MA. Maura and Karen developed and presented a series of webinars (Harnessing Online Overwhelm (HOO) to help busy entrepreneurs cut through the muck, get clear, get focused, and move forward with confidence using their social media accounts and websites to advance their businesses and attract their target audience.
